When students come to us for supplementary tuition, their syllabus (now often termed “specification”) has already been chosen by their main school. The present A-level structure is modular, which renders it flexible in contrast to the previous linear system. Hence we offer advice on which subjects students should carry over from A/S to A2, and on the advisability of re-sitting a particular module.

We also offer advice on GCSE courses, where for many subjects the boards offer a choice of modular and of linear syllabuses.

We ndertake the formalities of examination entry for any full-time students who have left school. Those re-sitting an entire subject usually opt for the board and syllabus they followed in their previous establishment; in other cases, we advise students on choice of board, syllabus, and options.
